My wife and I just took Rte 66 from Chicago to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. We only had three weeks vacation but saw as much as we could and loved it. Can't wait until we can finish it. We went right through Chandler. Sorry we missed you.

Hi Jerry, we've just got back to the UK after 4 weeks on 66. We had a brilliant time thanks to 'the book'. We went from LA to Chicago so it was at times tricky, particularly in New Mexico. But we made it in the end. We saw the Turkey tracks, the red brick road and drove along the 9 foot road. We met some wonderful people along the Route. Thanks for all your work and dedication.

Hi Jerry, I just wanted to say Thank you! Without your book we would never have been able to complete the 66 in August, we had the absolute best time ever and took our 7 & 9 year old daughters with us and they will remember it forever. Look forward to doing it all over again soon. The Route is awesome, only downside was Chicago and their lack of respect hence the pathetic signage compared to Santa Monica.
Thanks again Jerry sorry we didn't stop but will next time :)

Thank you so much for signing my book! My mom was very happy that you came out to the car to see her. She isn't very healthy and this will probably be her last big adventure away from home.

I just completed Route 66 from Springfield, Illinois to Santa Monica Pier in 10 days using your guidebook Jerry. I retyped out all the westbound directions which I then used in the clear window of my tank bag on my motorcycle. It was a great help as were the up to the minute updates you post on your website for construction and changes in the road. Thanks for a great guide!

Jerry, It was great meeting you last week on my journey of Route 66 in Oklahoma for my birthday! Ever since driving the whole route from Chicago to Santa Monica in 2011, it has a special place in my heart. Your EZ Guide is my "bible" when traveling Route 66, and I appreciate your efforts in the book. Seeing your amazing art work was a highlight for me. Thanks for sharing your time with me.

We are soon to head out to a family reunion west of Denver and then plan to drop down to Santa Fe and come home on 66. Your EZ book is very helpful and we hope to get it autographed!

WE are VERY! sorry to read that the charming Gary Turner has died. My wife and myself spent more than two wonderful hours visiting with him during our trip in 2013 as far as OK city.A great loss to the legendary Route 66 fan group. Are prints still available?

A little late in posting something up, but here goes! My daughter Emily and I flew over from Great Britain at the end of March. I was aware of EZ66 but it was too late to order before leaving and Amazon wanted a fortune for some reason. Spotted the guide for sale with Shaun at his Route 66 shop on Santa Monica Pier. A very helpful guy and recommend that anyone making it to the end goes to pay a visit. We were going east as far as Gallup NM in our Dodge Challenger R/T (courtesy of Hertz,or should that be Hurts as it was quite expensive!) via Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, Williams (train to Grand Canyon) and Monument Valley. We took in some odd sections on the way making sure to stop at the Snow Cap in Seligman but the guide was put into serious use upon leaving Gallup as it was '66 all the way back to LA. I showed Emily how to use the guide and although she's only fourteen and we were driving on the 'wrong' side of the road to what she's used to, she did very well. It was a good job I allowed plenty of time between each hotel stop as we crammed in as much of the road as possible, even driving up the dead end sections! At Meteor Crater I spotted a lady looking over a copy of EZ66 in the gift shop. I told her my experience with it and she was won over, buying it for her grandson who was '66 mad. I think we covered every gift shop in Williams and Seligman (with more Snow Cap food of course!) and enjoyed Hackberry General Store. The road from Kingman to Oatman was fantastic arriving just in time for the bank to be robbed and the inevitable shootout. We then had great fun chasing freight trains along the Goffs Road section but sadly had to resort to I40 as the road is washed away, but re-joined at Amboy with a stop at Roys Cafe. On our last day we did the loop from Barstow to Victorville where we stopped for the second time at the museum, again very highly recommended. Many thanks Jerry for a wonderful guide that I hope will be pressed into service again in the not too distant future.
