I found your EZ66 Guide invaluable, crossing Arizona's Route 66 from Topock to Chambers, last April. (I was going to do the whole route, but California and New Mexico were NOT "welcoming" tourists, so I crossed up through Utah and returned East on a more northerly route.)
Now that the States have opened again, I'm ready to cover the rest of the route in September. I've spent this morning copying your changes into my Guide, and come the weekend after Labor Day, I'll drive up to Chicago and head West, following the Joabs, Tod & Buz in their first-gen Corvette (well sorta), Bobby Troup, and of course your numerous trips up and down The Mother Road. (If the Lord be willing and the creek don't rise!)
Hope I'll get a chance to meet you, and see your gallery!

Hello Jerry
My wife and I (from the UK) have riden Route 66 twice now. First time in 2013 where we bought your book at Eureka MI and found it incredibly helpful and informative.
During the first ride Sue made lots of notes to add even more detail for our next trip. In 2018 we rode Route 66 again adding even more detail, but sadly when we got to The Petrified Forest, we left the book on the top box of our bike and rode off, losing it in the process! It had my wife email address on it in case we did lose it but to no avail.
Very sad day as it was our bible and friend throughout the trip. We finished the Route and then continued around the USA for three months travelling 10,000 miles and visiting 25 States including Canada. We also met Willie G Davidson whilst in Milwaukee. Incredible trip of a lifetime.
We are planning our third trip (Covid permitting?) and will be keen to buy another copy before we go so I was wondering if it would be possible to get it direct from you and perhaps ask you to sign it for us?
If not, we will come and visit you en route to see you in person. Either way we will come and see you!
With best regards
Simon and Sue

Hi Jerry. Dad is 85, I'm 57 and for as long as I can remember Dad has talked about doing this trip .... Dad had a scare early this month which was an eye opener. If not NOW, then WHEN? Since we are in Chicago, our go date is 09/09. It will be an abridged version (10 days), Mom can't be left alone too long, but hoping to see many of the familiar sites. Your 4th edition is our bible for this trip ... hope to meet you as well!

We're Angelenos who took the 15 to Barstow and then 66 to Tulsa - there's NO WAY we could have successfully navigated without this book. We decided against buying passports and had the locations stamp our book and now we have a great souvenir that we'll hopefully use again. Thanks Jerry!

Hi Jerry. My wife and I just finished Route 66, Santa Monica to Chicago. We met with you at your gallery, you may remember us as we were in a Jaguar F-Type convertible, not a typical Route 66 car but well up to the task. The trip was truly the trip of a lifetime and I say literally I don't know how we would have completed it without your EZ66 book. The turn by turn instructions were vital, and your suggestions of things to see turned every day into an Easter Egg hunt that we enjoyed very much. Thanks so much for all of the work you put into your book, it helped us turn a bucket list dream into a successful reality. Chuck and Carol Simpson

Just wanted to say we have and love your book and maps. We're planning on driving 66 in our Corvette in Sept (God willin' and the cricks don't rise). If we can we'll stop by.

I was going to start my 66 trip in Chicago and end in Santa Monica, I was then going to hit I-10 to Florida to see some friends. Because I got a later start those friends will no longer be in Florida by time I am done my route in Santa Monica, so I am in Florida now, I will be leaving Florida in a few weeks and head to Santa Monica instead and do the whole trip in reverse.

So excited to be traveling Route 66 this August. I was starting to research and my husband put a copy of your EZ66 3rd Edition next to me. We had talked about doing 66 many years ago. He had purchased your book at the local AAA office and I forgot all about it. I found your website from this guidebook and am so happy that you're still Route 66's greatest cheerleader. We've both had our Covid vaccines and look forward to a road trip for a week in Sedona, checking in on Friday August 13.. Glad we aren't superstitious! We will be following 66 out of St. Louis. Our journey begins at our Old Kentucky Home in Boone County, Kentucky. Take care and hope to meet you in August to sign your Guidebook!
