Great book btw. We are on holiday in Albuquerque and thought we go up the Turquoise Trail to Santa Fe. The plan was to drive on the 'singing hwy' but there was nothing we could find. Not sure if they have paved over or not, it didn't look that old, but nothing EB from exit 170 to 175. Page NM-11. Google shows it as closed.

Hi Jerry-
My friend Joan and I just completed about 11 days on Route 66 - from Chicago to LA. We used your EZ66 Guide for Travelers (4th Edition) and it was fantastic. I hope you won't mind that we began referring to it as "The Bible". Joan dispatched a daily travelogue via email to family and friends, including amazing pictures. We would like to share a few of those with you, if you are interested. Sorry we missed your gallery but we saw some incredible and crazy things. Honestly, it was an adventure that far exceeded our expectations and we were the envy of many! Thanks for your excellent directions, narrative, history and keeping us on track. Please let me know if you would like us to share some of our travelogues with you. We truly got our kicks on Route 66 - thanks to you. All the best, Elaine

NM page 13 - I'm sorry to say that the El Don Motel sign was dark this evening. (And I'm sorrier to admit that I'm staying tonight at the EconoLodge across from the Monterey Motel.)

Hi Jerry
I just wanted to send a HUGE Thank you! to you for your book EZ66.
We just returned from our adventure on route 66 from Oklahoma City to Meteor Crater AZ. As navigator, I had your book in my lap the entire trip, as well as while I was planning our adventure. Thank you so much! The maps, drawings, recommendations, ALERTs were wonderful and added so much fun and interest to our trip. We will never forget it! My best to you!

NM Page 25 -- HWY 50 is closed between Pecos and Glorieta, for a bridge replacement project. The detour is to backtrack to Rowe, then take I-25 to Glorieta. NMRoads.com started the project in early August, and says it will take about 7 weeks to complete.

Met you a few days ago, Pam & Randy with the red Corvette (all Corvettes are red, the rest are mistakes!). Enjoyed our visit, sorry we delayed your Walmart expedition! My blog if you're interested, is pamelamryan.blogspot.com.
We had to take a bit of a hiatus as Randy hurt his knee, we spent almost a week in Santa Fe. Starting off again on Route 66 tomorrow.
Thanks for the book and thanks for the autograph!
Pam & Randy Ryan
