Forgot to mention our side trip north on us 89 from flagstaff. Camped at Sunset Crater National Monument. Then north to the south rim road. Spent 3 nights at the Grand Canyon then south on Az. Rt64 to Williams. We drove thru the Petrified forest National park beforehand and The Meteor Crater afterward. I think Arizona has one the best roadside attractios on the route.

Hi Jerry
We completed our tour of rt66 by the end of July. Started on June 15th. I would say we stopped at about 60% of the attractions this trip. Rt66 Diner in Williams with the Betty Boop statue. standing on the corner in Winslow Az. It was a pleasure to meet you and thanks for the autograph. Planing on going to the Route 66 Museum in Pontiac IL. Next week end. its 30 minutes from home and we missed it on our Journey.

Hi Jerry,
Sorry I missed you at your gallery.
Just want to let you know, that Devil's Elbow bridge is open. I drove it two days ago.

Best regards, Fred from the Netherlands

Hi Jerry. I just wanted to say thanks for putting this book together. My wife and I have used it extensively and have just finished covering all off Route 66 in Kansas and Oklahoma plus parts in Missouri, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. There are so many fabulous places to see and I appreciate your efforts to help point out many sights that one could just pass by without noticing unless they had a decent guide book. Since I will be retiring soon and have an RV we have decided that one of our first trips will be to go to Chicago and follow Route 66 all the way to the west coast. Your book will be right on the front seat as we travel, for sure.

Wanted to drop a line to say that the bridge at Devils Elbow in Missouri is closed due to road work as of July 11 2018. Did not know if you knew or not. We will see if you are home when we travel east in a week or so. We are leaving 66 at Kingman and start heading north to Vegas.
