Mr. McClanahan is a first-class gentleman, a true rarity in this day and age! Thanks for helping West Mesa High School out, Jerry! You rock! And don't forget to drop me a line the next time you find yourself on old Route 66 in Albuquerque.

Greetings! Just wanted to give kudos to the man who created the EZ Guide to Route 66. My partner and I travelled the road in Sept/Oct 2010 and used it exclusively, going west to east. It was the "trip of a lifetime." Started in Santa Monica and ended in Chicago. We enjoyed the ride so much, we continued all the way home to Florida. What an experience. Thanks! Kathie McCarthy (PS-Also love your artwork!)

Hi
I have heard so many great reviews about ez66 so went out to get it at my local bookstore today before I do the trip. Turns out the are sold out and I'm wondering if I can purchase it anywhere along the route itself?.

THANK YOU, very much!!! Your 2nd edition of EZ 66 was "our bible and best guide" as we just finished what we called our One Lap Around America......10,794.2 miles thru 27 States & Canada for 2 Months and 2 Days......April 15th thru June 17th 2012. After a Family Reunion in Dubuque Iowa on Memorial Day...we drove south to pick up Route 66 / Boots Cabins / Carthage, MO.......all the way to Santa Monica, CA....our home being Costa Mesa, California. We followed your maps and read your directions & special notes & regional highlights.....and had an Awesome World-Class Adventure!!!!

My wife, Glen, and I just travelled (most of) Route 66 for our honeymoon. We came off at Kingman to go north to Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite and then San Francisco. Your guide was invaluable while we were on (and off) the route. Took us three weeks and we loved every moment.

Ten of us started June 1st in Joplin Mo.on a Route 66 trip. Bought your EZ 66 guide 2nd edition. You mentioned Desert Hills motel in Tulsa Ok. It's sign is neat but that is all! The rooms are the worst rooms I have ever seen. DO NOT go near this motel. If you want to stay in a charming old classic motel. Stay at Historic Route 66 in Tucumcari N Mex. Great owners and rooms. We enjoyed using your EZ 66 guide. Desert Hills was the only bad experience.
