Hi Jerry, last Saturday a couple of Dutch Route 66 friends have met in Amsterdam. We were very lucky with the presence of Jim Hinckley and his wive Judy! We even had guests from Germany and Belgium.
I think that this is may be one of the key aspects of Route 66. More than a road that connects places, it is a feeling that is connecting people.
So Jerry, now we have to figure out a way to get you over here!
Kind regards, Fred

Hi! Just got my copy of EZ66 delivered. I am doing the entire route next summer with my daughter - it's her Sweet 16 adventure! We are so excited and can't wait to start firming up our plans via the guide. Hope to see you in a Chandler! AnnMarie, UK

Hi Jerry I have been following your info on Route 66 for a few years now and I will finally be doing the trip with my 15 year old Grandson in April 2015. This trip has had many starts over the last 4 years so hopefully it will finally happen. Leaving Australia on the 7th April staying in Vegas a few days then flying to Chicago on the 11th then leave for Route 66 on the 14th. 21 days on Route 66. I have 2 Americam muscle cars and a Caddy convertible. Unfortunately getting a muscle car one way to do the trip is difficult and or very expensive so just hiring an SUV and it has been over 30 years since I have driven on the "right" side of the road so it should be an interesting trip. Hope to call in and say hello on the way.

Hi McJerry! Enjoyed reading all about you and dear old Route 66 on this website. Could hear spoken French language all through some of it. Sooo glad you and gallery moved to historic Chandler, OK. Love watching busy Rt.66 traffic down mainstreet/66 any day except Sunday morning when we could stand out in the middle and visit with slowing, parking Rt.66 tourists from around the state and whole world. Delightful! your friend Sally Ferrell who has lived alongside it in various Oklahoma locations all her life of 81 years.

Been researching an organized (sort of) trip to see as much of the oldest alignments of Mother Road and bumped into your interactive map. What a deal! It will save me so much digging. I travel as much of it as I can going to and from my home (in S.F. Bay Area) and my property near Holbrook AZ. Thank you for your dedication.
By the way, I hope I passed the test O.K., the hint was capital and the word was lower case.

Hi Jerry!
My Mom and I just got back from getting our kicks on Route 66- Part 2! Last year we drove St.Louis to Amarillo. This year we started in Amarillo and finished in Santa Monica, CA. Just a small section left between Chicago and St.Louis to complete. Your book was invaluable!! Along with the Route 66 Adventure Handbook, we had no problems navigating the road and didn't miss any of the essential sights. Your update page was a real help as well. Thanks!!!

Hi Jerry,
We've just returned from our Route 66 trip. We started in Chicago and went the whole way! We used your EZ guide and the Travel Route 66 book by Jim Hinckley to navigate our way down the mother road. We had the best holiday ever and will be returning next year to do other things and stay in other places. Highlights from this years trip includes; Lou Mitchell's, The Chain of Rocks Bridge, The Rail Haven Motel, Gay Parita Service Station, Meramec Caverns, Motel Safari, Sid's Diner, Bud's Tyre shop in Springfield, The Blue Whale, Cadillac Ranch, The Galena Bordello, Seligman, the many beautiful Truss Bridges, the list really is endless. A special moment for us was driving along dirt 66 from Alanreed to McLean at dusk in our Dodge Challenge! We'd loved to have stopped by to get our EZ66 guide signed by yourself but we went through Chandler way too late, probably as we stopped at absolutely everything we could along the way. Your guide is working!!!
Anyway, thank you for such a fantastic step-by-step guide to Route 66! I'm already planning next year's trip perhaps we'll meet next time.
Kind regards,
Fay & Jamil from England, UK

Hi Jerry, this summer we made a trip from Gallup to Oatman and it was great. Your book prooved to be a fantastic guide. We found places, that would otherwise been easily overlooked.
Sadly, at Meteor City, the world's longest map of Route 66 seems to be gone. Are there any plans for a restoration?
Kind regards from The Netherlands, Fred

Hi Jerry, we completed our trip a couple of weeks ago. Nice to meet you when we went thru Chandler! Your guidebook was excellent! We couldn't drive the whole road but were able to hop on and off following your comments and had a great time with great sights and places. The Blue Swallow is a must stop, as is La Posada in Winslow. Thanks again. Bill and Susan Andreas
