Just so you are aware, the Launching Pad in Wilmington, Illinois is still closed and the owner is parking her beater car in front of the Gemini Giant to prevent visitors from getting pictures. It's a sad case, and not sure how it will all work out. We know lots of people plan on stopping by for a picture, but they should be aware of the current situation.

My wife and I completed our Route 66 road trip from Los Angeles to Lebanon, Missouri in February, 2023. Your EZ66 guide was indispensable. We saw most of the landmarks - what great Americana! I just completed a painting of our trip from memories (with photo-assist) - 3 30 x 40 inch canvases - entitled "The World's Largest Ball of String. I be happy to share photos of it with you.

Wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how great your guide was!! We just completed a 66 trip from Chicago to Santa Monica in 12 days (we drove up to Chicago from our home in NW Louisiana and started the trip up there) and your guide was absolutely essential to our enjoyment of the journey!! We didn’t miss a thing (got pix to prove it haha) and, especially through the quirky turns in LA and elsewhere, without your “bible†we’d still be wandering around out there!
Thanks so much for compiling such a comprehensive and useful manual for negotiating the “Mother Road†-

In October 2018 we were returning from a trip and spent the night in Pontiac, Illinois. while in Pontiac, we visited the Route 66 Museum, and I was hooked. On the way home (50 miles southwest of Washington, Missouri) we decided to take 66 from Pontiac to St. Louis. We stopped at Ryburn Place in Normal, Illinois and I bought the EZ Guide and have been using it ever since. Gradually we started traveling Route 66. On March 14 we're finally wrapping up the Mother Road with a trip from Williams, Arizona to Santa Monica, California. Your book helped get me the entire way. It's spiral binding has come out a few times, and many of the pages have been torn out and stapled back in. That's a sign that the book has been used a lot. Thank you!

Hello Jerry! My buddy Mike and I are planning to do Route 66 E to W in September. I have the 4th edition of your guide, didn't know about the 5th (sigh). I'm marking up changes in my book that I am finding while populating waypoints. We will be taking the tour via motorcycle, ending up in California and shipping our bikes back. I'm in MN and Mike is in NC. We'll be meeting up in Chicago. Already looking forward to this bucket-list trip, hope we get to see you when we come through town! Thanks for continuing the journey!

I have the 4th Edition and we're planning a trip mid June 2023 and now there's an update. I wish I'd waited for the 5th Edition...! But we can't wait to get started.

Hi Jerry, just finished reading EZ66 (4th Edition). Such a wealth of information, whilst planning our drive along route 66 in June and July later this year as we're travelling from the UK. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to meet you in person and maybe get you to sign the guide for us lol! Thanks for all the information that you have provided
