Jerry, I really enjoyed meeting you and your wife the other day. I will send you a pic as soon as I get the prints and the postcard framed and on the wall of my Harley garage.

Hi Jerry - With 66 IL, MO & KS under our belts, we are coming from NW Georgia and planning to do OK to LA from Oct-5 thru Oct-18. We hope you are in town on that Saturday Oct 5th as we really want a pic and my navigator wife, Sherry, is hunting your autograph on her EZ Guide. Thanks for all you do!

I traveled route 66 from Chicago (started in Detroit)to Pasadena in 1965 with two buddies in a 1965 Mustang. I will never forget that trip. We ended up staying a week at the Mentor Hotel on Colorado Blvd. I would love to drive it one more time with my wife and grand children. Even today, 50 plus years later, I still get excited just thinking of that wonderful adventure.

My sister and I are driving on "The Mother Road" from Chicago to Santa Monica in June. We are looking forward to trip. I will be able to mark this off of my bucket list. I am fortunate to have daughters in both Chicago and Santa Monica. Since my sister is my navigator, I prepared a notebook by state and city for all of the points of interest we want to visit and photograph on the trip.

I was born and raised in St. Louis. My Dad owned The Rolling Pin Bakery on old Rt. 66 and I went to the 66 Nursery School. We stayed at the Coral Court Motel several times on visits back to St Louis after we moved to Detroit. Now live in San Diego and my wife and I are planning a trip in October to visit friends in NM, TX and AZ. Plan to head west from Amarillo and see as many of the sites as possible. Just received your Guide for Travelers yesterday but it already has been useful in my pre-trip planning. Thanks for your efforts to keep The Mother Road alive and thriving!

Hello from the corn desert of east central Illinois.
I picked up your EZ66 Guide last September in Staunton, IL at Henry’s Rabbit Ranch (I was even in my VW GTI lol) on my way home from a STL Cardinals game while I was meandering the old route before heading east on RT16 from Litchfield, IL. It came highly recommended from Rich Henry who even signed it right then. I have read it about 5 times since then as I am using it in conjunction with my gps mapping programs and other Route 66 books and journals to plan out my cross country motorcycle trip me and a couple other “Flatlanders RC” members will be embarking on in late August 2019. The plan is to meet in Chicago and ride 300-400 miles per day stopping to take in everything we can and visit with locals and then camp or couch surf our way across country. Once in California, we will ride around the Mohave visiting Joshua Tree, San Bernardino Natl. Forest, Salton Sea, Sky valley areas as well as a nice 300 or so miles up the PCH before doing back to back IronButt qualifying rides back home (2500 miles in 48 hours of ride time) Your guide is one of the main tools being utilized for our trek. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and countless hours of research so this nerd biker can plan his most epic journey to date!!
