Oil on canvas 21" x 36" A typical scene at a typical Route 66 gas station in Sayre, OK. One of my specialties is incorporating "toothy" close ups of fifties cars in the foreground of Route 66 scenes. As in this case, I enjoy meticulously "restoring" classic Route 66 settings to their orignal appearance, through old photos and postcards. Price: SOLD ( for $5,000) to a Japanese collector.
