"SSR at the Blue Swallow"
To publicize the release of the SSR sports pickup, Chevy flew 20 artists from around the country up to Detroit, to meet the designers and photograph the number one production car. We each chose our own setting for our painting, so of course I pictured the SSR in front of the famed Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari, NM. This painting, plus 3 others from the region, were auctioned along with SSR serial number 7 SOLD |
